    Tell us about yourself, your goals, and why you're interested in First Ascent.

  2. Step 2: Application Review

    Our team reviews each application holistically.

  3. Step 3: Interview

    Selected applicants are invited for a brief virtual interview.

  4. Step 4: Join the Community

    If accepted, you'll begin your First Ascent journey with a kick-off call, onboarding, career coaching, community events, outdoor adventures, and professional development.

What we're looking for

We're looking for graduates (or almost graduates) who...

  • Want to build a career and a life in West Virginia 

  • Are curious and eager to grow 

  • Value Community 

  • Enjoy trying new experiences 

  • Want to make an impact 

  • Are excited to connect with fellow graduates 

  • Are atleast 18 years or older and eligible to work within the United States. 

  • Have the ability and desire to relocate to a  featured community as designated by the First Ascent program within six months of notification of acceptance.
